Documentation/Theme Instruction – AccessPress Ray Pro

Download Accesspress Ray Pro Theme from here into you computer.

Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
Click on Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
Click on Upload Theme button at the top and browse the downloaded zip file in your computer.
Click on Install button and then Activate to install the theme.
After you Activate the plugin, you will see the option:
This theme requires the following plugins: Black Studio TinyMCE Widget, Page Builder by SiteOrigin and Revolution Slider.
Click on Begin installing plugins

Click on Install to install each plugin.

Installing AccessPress Ray Pro Theme using Cpanel / FTP

Download Accesspress Ray Pro theme from here into you computer.
Unzip the downloaded zip file.
Upload the unzipped file in to /wp-content/themes/
Now, activate the theme by going to Appearance -> Themes in the WordPress dashboard.
Activate the AccessPress Ray  Pro.
After you Activate the plugin, you will see the option:

How to Change the Template Color?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Basic Settings
In Select the Template color option, select template color as per your requirement.
Click on Save Options.

How to Enable/Disable Responsive Design?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Basic Settings
In Disable Responsive Design option, click on ON to enable responsive design and click on off to disable responsive design.
Click on Save Options.

How to change Web Page layout?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Basic Settings
In Web Page layout option, there are two options to choose, either to choose Fullwidth or Boxed layout, select as per your requirement.
Click on Save Options.

 How to Upload Favicon?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Basic Settings
In Upload Favicon option, click on upload.
Browse the image and save the changes.
Make sure that the uploaded file is in png format and doesn’t exceed the size of 16px X 16px.
Click on Save Options.

How to change background patterns?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Basic Settings
In Background Pattern – Choose the pattern option, Select the pattern as per your need.
Click on Save Options.

How to Upload Custom Background Image?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Basic Settings
(To enable custom background image, Set Background patterns to none)
In Upload Custom Background Image option, Click on Upload
Select the required background image and click on upload

In Display Option,
Select Image Position to Left, Right or Center.
In Repeat option, Selcet Repeat, Tile, Tile Horizontally or Tile Vertically as per your need.
Select Attachment as Scroll or Fixed.
In Background Color option, select Background Color as per your need.

How to Configure Call to Action Section?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Home Page Settings
In Enable/Disable Call to Action option, click on Enable/Disable to enable or disable call to action.
In Call to Action Title option, enter title of Call to Action.
In Call to Action Description, enter Call to Action description.
In Call to Action Read More button Text, enter  Call to Action Read More button Text.
In Call to Read More Button Link, Insert Call to Read More Button Link
In Call to Action Background Color, select Call to Action Background Color as per your requirement.
Click on Save Options.

 How to add Featured Section and configure its settings?

Create 4 posts with Title, Description and featured image.
Go to Posts > Add New
Enter Title, Description and Featured Image.
Click on Publish.
Go To Appearance > Theme Options > Home Page Settings
In Enable/Disable Feature option, Click on Enable/Disable to enable or disable Featured Post.
In Featured Title option, enter Featured Title.
In Featured Text option, enter Featured Text.
In Background Color option, select Background Color as per your requirement.
In Featured Post 1 option, select the post that you created for featured list from drop down menu
Similarly, select the featured post from drop down menu for Featured Post 2, 3 and 4
In Read More Text option, enter Read More Text
In Number of Charcter to show in Feature Post option, insert Number of Charcter.
Click on Save Options.

How to set Font Awesome Icon instead of Featured Image in Featured Post?

Click on Appearance > Theme Options > Home Page Settings
In Show Font Awesome icon in Featured Post option, Click on On to enable Font Awesome Icon.(If enabled the image will be replaced by Font Awesome Icon. )
In Featured Post 1 option, insert name of icon that you want to show on each featured Post.
Similarly insert another icon name in Featured Post 2, 3 and 4.
(You can select Font Awesome icon from given link)
Click on Save Options.

Create a Page with title, description
In description  you can add
1. Click on Page Builder

How to Set Above Blog Section(Call To Action With Form) and configure its settings?

Go to Appearance > Widgets
There you will see Call to Action with Form(Full Width Widget) option
Now, drag AP: Call to Action with Form widget inside Full Width Widget(Call to Action with Form) box.
In Title option, enter Title
In Description option, enter Description
In Button Text option, enter button text
In Button URL option, enter button url
Click on Save.

Install a contact form 7 plugin
Click on Plugins > Add new
Search contact form 7 plugin
Click on Install now

How to Add Blog Section and configure its settings?

Click on Posts > Categories > Add New
Enter Category name as Blog > Click on Add New Category
Click on Posts > Add New
Enter Title, Description and featured image
Select category as blog from right meta box of text editor
Click on Publish.

Click on Blog Setting
In Enable/Disable Blog option, click on Enable or Disable to Enable/Disable Blog.
In Select the category to display as Blog option, select category as blog from the drop down menu.
In Blog Section Title option, enter title for blog section.
In Blog Section Description option, enter description for Blog Section.
In Latest Blog Background Color option, select background color for latest blog.
In Select the Blog Layout option, there are two options to choose either to choose layout 1 or to choose layout 2, select blog layout as per your need.
In Show Blog Posted Date option, click On/Off to enable/disable to show blog posted date.
In Show author & comment option, click On/Off to enable/disable to show author & comment.
In Number of Character for Blog Option, enter no of character for blog.
Click on Save Options.

How to Add Awesome Feature Section?

Create a Page with title, description

In description  you can add
1. Click on Page Builder

Create a Page with title, description

How to Add Featured Widget Bar and Configure its settings?

Click on Appearance > Widgets
You’ll see Featured Left Widget and Featured Right Widget option
Drag required widget inside the box that you want to display in Featured Widget Bar and save the changes in each box.

Click on Map, Contact Us and Feature Widget Block Setting.

Click on Appearance > Themes Options > Home Page Settings
Click on Map, Contact Us and Feature Widget Block Setting.
In Enable/Disable Google Map and Contact Us Section option, click on enable/disable to enable or disable Google Map and Contact Us section.
Enter the Latitude and Longitude of your Location.
Enter the Map Height.
Enter no. of  Zoom Level.
Select Map Type from drop down menu.
In Scrolling Wheel option, Click on Enable/Disable to enable or disable zoom map on scrolling.
In Map Controls option, Click on On/OFF to controls icons that appears above Map.

Click on Map, Contact Us and Feature Widget Block Setting.
In Contact Form Shortcode option, enter the contact form 7 shortcode.
Enter the Contact Us Title.
Enter the Contact Us Description.
In Contact Address option, enter the Contact Address
Enter the Phone Number
Enter the Email Address
Enter your Website URL
Enter the Skype Address
Click on Save Options.

Go to Dasboard > Click on Testimonial > Add New
Enter title, description and featured image
Click on publish
Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Home Page
Click on Testimonial Setting
In Enable/Disable Testimonials option, click on Enable/Disable to Enable/Disable Testimonials
In Testimonial Section Title option, enter the Title for Testimonial Section
In Testimonial Description option, enter the Description for Testimonails
In 3 Column Testimonials option, click on Enable/Disable to Enable/Disable 3 column testimonial.
In Background Color option, select the Background Color for testimonial.
Click on Save Options.

How to Add Client/Partner Logo and Configure its Settings?

Go to Dashboard > Click on Client Logo > Add New
Enter title and click on featured image to upload logo.
Click on publish
Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Home Page
Click on Testimonial Setting
In Enable/Disable Clients/Parters Section, check to enable/disable to upload Clients/Parters Logo
In Client/Partner Logo Heading option, enter the header for Client/Partner Logo
In Client/Parters Slider Description option, Enter the Clients or Logo Description.
In Background Color option, select the Background Color for client/partner logo.
Click on Save Options.

Go to Appearance > Widget
There you’ll see Above Footer Call to Action Section, click on it
Now drag AP: Call to Action widget inside Above Footer Call to Action Section box and save the changes

In Select Header Style option, select any header as per your requirement.

In Enable Sticky Header, check on ON/OFF to enable or disable sticky header.
In Show Search in Header option, check on ON/OFF to show or hide search in header.

In Upload Logo option, click on Upload
Browse the image logo and crop it as required and save the changes.
Make sure that you upload the image with size 190X70 pixels.

How to Add Slider and configure its settings?

Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Slider Settings
In Show Slider option, check on show/hide to show or hide slider.

In Select Slider Type, there are two options to choose either to choose Category Slider or to choose Revolution Slider

If you select to choose Category Slider,
First create a category as slider.
Goto Posts > Categories > Add New Category
Create a post with Slider title, description and featured image and assigned the category as slider from right metabox of post editor and click on publish.
Go to Appearance > Theme options > Header Settings
In Select the Category for Slider option, select the category as slider from drop down menu.
In Category slider Settings only option, you can configure Category slider Settings only.
In Enable Dotted Overlay option, click to Enable/Disable Dotted Overlay.
In Show Slider Controls (Arrows) option, check on Yes or No to show/hide slider controls.
In Show Slider Pager (Navigation dots/images) option, check on Yes or No to show/hide slider pager.
In Show Image in Pager (Set Slider Pager Option to Yes) option, check on Yes or No to show/hide image in pager.
In Slider auto Transition option, check on Yes or No to show/hide Slider auto Transition.
In Slider Speed option, enter slider speed.
In Show Slider Captions option, check on show/hide to show/hide slider captions.
In Slider Read More Text option, enter Slider Read More Text.
Click on Save Options.

Click on Create New Slider.

After you entered the slider title and alias you’ll get Slider shortcode.

Enter Title and Description.

In Full Width FAQ option, check on ON/OFF to enable or disable Full Width FAQ.
In Show Answer option, Check on Always Show or Oncheck to Question as per your need.
In Select the Right Sidebar to display option, select required option from the list.
Click on Save Options.

Go to Dashboard > Portfolio > Add New
Enter Title, Description and Featured Image
Click on Publish.

In Full Width Portfolio option, Check on ON/OFF to enable or disable Full Width Portfolio.
In Select the Sidebar to display option, select required option from the list.
In Portfolio Archive Page Layout option, Select Portfolio Archive Page Layout to Grid or List.
In No of columns in Grid Layout option, selcet no. of column in Grid Layout.
In No of character to display in exercpt option, enter no. of character to display in excerpt

In Custom CSS option, enter your custom CSS inside the box.
In Custom Code (analytics) option, enter the script like anlytics or any other inside the box.
In AddThis Publisher ID option, enter AddThis Publisher ID. (Go to Addthis website, register and enter the publisher id to keep the track fo your website.)
Click on Save Options.
