Parallax / One page WordPress Free Theme: AccessPress Parallax – Documentation
Click on Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
Search for “Accesspress Parallax”. You will find it in the search result.
Click on Install button and then Activate to install the theme.
or
Download Accesspress Parallax theme into your computer.
Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel
Click on Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
Click on Upload Theme button at the top and browse the downloaded zip file in your computer.
Click on Install button and then Activate to install the Theme.
Installing AccessPress Parallax Theme using Cpanel / FTP
Download Accesspress Parallax theme from here into you computer.
Unzip the downloaded zip file.
Upload the unzipped file in to /wp-content/themes/
Now, activate the theme by going to Appearance -> Themes in the WordPress dashboard.
Activate the AccessPress Parallax and Click on “Theme Option” in the Appearance Menu in the Dashboard for Further settings
General Settings
Click on Appearance -> Themes options -> Click on General Settings Tab
In General Settings, You’ll see Enable Parallax option, check this box to enable/disable parallax
You’ll see Enable Responsive option, check this box to enable/disable responsiveness of the website
Upload Logo
Click on Appearance -> Themes Options
Click on General Settings
You will see a Upload logo labelled with Upload button. Click it.
Browse the image logo and crop it as required and save the changes.
Upload Favicon
Click on General settings in the Theme Option menu
Upload favicon as required and click on save option.
Make sure that the uploaded file is in png format and doesn’t exceed the size of 16 X 16.
Select Header Layout
Click on Appearance -> Themes Options
Click on General Settings
You’ll see Select Header Layout option. select anyone of them
Click on Save Options
As shown in the image, the first options will align the logo at the left where as the second option will center the logo with navigation just below it.
Woocommerce Setting
Install and activate the plugin called woocommerce.
Note: Please install the woocommerce with the accesspress parallax V.1.25.8 or above.
Run the setup wizard for woocommerce.
– Choose “Let’s go” or “Not right now”.
Create a page with title Shop(example) and add this below code to the description area.

Now go to Dashboard > Appearance > theme option > Home parallax section.
– Add new section and select the page from the dropdown button that we have created (shop).
– Choose the layout as default section from the dropdown button.
– And save the option.
Now go to dashboard > Products > Add Produts.
– Give title to the product.
– Add a description on the field.
– Fill up the area as required.
– Add a product short description.
– Click on Add new product category, add a product category where you can also create a parent product category.
– Click on set product image, add a product image from Media library or Upload Files.
– Publish the product.
(Repeat this step to have a multiple number of products.)
Parallax Settings
Click on Appearance -> Themes options -> Click on Parallax Settings Tab
This section will hold all the section of the website in the order.
You can drag and drop to arrange the order of the section.
Add new section
First create a new page with title, content.
Give the title of the page same as the name of the section that you want to create.
Create a New category
Now go to appearance -> Theme Option
Click on Parallax Settings Tab
Click on Add new section
You’ll see a fields for page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page field, select the created page
In Font Color field, Select the color for the font as per your requirement
In Background Color field, Select the color for the background of the page as per your requirement
In Layout field, Select the section.
You can select from the list of 9 section.
1. Default Section
2. Service Section
3. Team Section
4. Portfolio Section
5. Testimonial Section
6. Blog Section
7. Call To Action Section
8. Google Map Section
9. Blank Section
Each section will have different design and functionality. Choose your Required Layout.
In the Category field, Select the category.
Basically category field allow you display list of posts assigned to that category.
For example if you selected a Team section then you need to display the team members.
For this make the category named team member and assign all the post that represent team member to this Category.
In Background image field, Select the background image according to your preference.
If you don’t want any background image then do not upload the background image.
In this case , the section will have the background color that you have set earlier in the Background color field.
Click on Save Options
This will add a new section to your website.

Add Service Section
Create a page with Title, Content
Create a category with name Service (or any name you want)
Create a post with Title, Content and Featured image and assign the service category.
(To show the post under service category, select category as service from right metabox of post editor)
Now Go to appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you will have page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list
In font color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Service from the list
In category option -> Select category as Service
In Background image option -> Select the background image according to your preference.
Click on Save Options
Add Call to Action section
Create a page with Title, Content
The call to action section will not have any sub post so you don’t need to create a category for it.
Leave the Category field blank.
Click on appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you’ll see page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list.
The Call to Action section will show the Title and Content of the assigned page.
In font Color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Call to Action from the list
In category option -> Select as category. (No need to create category for this section)
In Background image option -> Select the background image according to your preference.
Click on Save Options
Add Portfolio Section
Create a page with Title, Content
Create a category with name Portfolio (or any name you want)
Create a post with Title, Content and Featured image and assign Portfolio category.
(To show the post under portfolio category, select category as portfolio from right metabox of post editor)
Click on appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax Settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you’ll see page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list
In font color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Portfolio from the list
In category option -> Select category as Portfolio
In Background image option -> Select the background image according to your preference.
Click on Save Options
Add Team Section
Create a page with Title, Content
Create a category with name Team (or any name you want)
Create a post with Title, Content and Featured image and assign Team category.
(To show the post under Team category, select category as Team from right metabox of post editor)
Now Go to appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax Settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you will have page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list
In font color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Team from the list
In category option -> Select category as Team

Add Testimonial Section
Create a page with Title, Content
Create a category with name Testimonial (or any name you want)
Create a post with Title, Content and Featured image and assign Testimonial category.
(To show the post under Testimonial category, select category as Testimonial from right meta box of post editor)
Click on appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you will have page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list
In font color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Testimonial from the list
In category option -> Select category as Testimonial
In Background image option -> Select the background image according to your preference.
Click on Save Options.
Add blog Section
Create a page with Title, Content.
Create a category with name Blog (or any name you want)
Create a post with Title, Content and Featured image and assign Blog category.
(To show the post under Blog category, select category as Blog from right meta box of post editor)
Click on appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you will have page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list
In font color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Blog from the list
In category option -> Select category as Blog
In Background image option -> Select the background image according to your preference.
Click on Save Options.
Add Videos Section
Create a page with Title, Content
(In Content of the page copy paste the embed code of youtube/vimeo video
You don’t need to create a category post for this section.
Click on appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you will have page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list
In font color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Default from the list
In Background image option -> Select the background image according to your preference.
Click on Save Options.
Add Contact Section
To add a contact page, first you have to install a contact form 7 plugin
Click on Plugins -> Add new
Search contact form 7 plugin
Click Install Button
Activate the plugin
After you activate the plugin, you’ll see Contact Menu in the dashboard Menu,
Click it and Copy the short code
Create a new page with Title, Content
Paste the short code in content of the page.
Click on appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax Settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you will have page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list
In font color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Default from the list
In Background image option -> Select the background image according to your preference.
Click on Save Options.
Add Google Map Section
Create a page with Title, Content.
Insert your Google map iframe link in the content.
To generate the Google map iframe, open maps.google.com and follow the steps.
Click on appearance -> Theme option -> Click on Parallax Settings Tab
Click on Add New Section
There you will have page, font color, background color, layout, category and background image option.
In page option -> select the created page from the list
In font color option -> Select the color as per your requirement
In Background color option-> Select the color as per your requirement
In layout option -> Select section as Google Map from the list
In Background image option -> Select the background image according to your preference.
Click on Save Options.
Post Settings
Click on Appearance -> Themes options -> Click on Post Settings Tab
In Post Settings,
You’ll see 4 option; Show Posted Date, Show Post Author, Show Post Footer text and Show Prev Next Pagination
Check the box to Enable/Disable those option as per your requirement.
Click on Save Options
Slider Settings
First create a new category and name it as a Slider (or any name).
Make a new post with Title, Description and Featured Image.
The Title and the content of the post shows as a slider caption and the Featured image as a Slider background Image.
Select the categories as Slider from right meta box of post editor.
Click on Appearance -> Themes options -> Click on Slider Settings Tab
You’ll see Select a Category option, select category as Slider.
All the post under this category will appear as a slider
You can configure all Slider Settings from this menu
Click on Save Option
The heading of the post will appear as a Caption title.
The content of the post will appear as a Caption Description.
The featured image of the post works as an image.
The best size of the image is 1900 X 550. You can also upload images of any size but, all the images must be of same size.
Click on Appearance -> Themes options -> Click on Slider Settings Tab
In Slider Settings, You’ll see many options, check the box according to your requirement
In a select a category option, select a category as slider
You can set Speed in Slider Transition Speed box
You can set Pause Duration in Slider Pause Duration box.

Social Link Settings
Click on Appearance -> Themes options -> Click on Social Links Tab
You’ll see Show Social Icon option, check the box to enable/disable social icons
Insert the Urls of your profile for individual social site.
Leave blank for the social media that you don’t want to show.
Click Save Option.
Tools Settings
Click on Appearance -> Themes options -> Click on Tools Tab
In Custom CSS box, insert your Custom CSS to customize the design of the website as per your requirement.
If you directly edit the core CSS files, you may loose all your changes in the when you update the theme.
Click on Save Options
FAQs
How to menu and submenu to theme? (Add my own menu)
1. Make a new page with name “Home” or any other name and assign the Home Page template to it.
2. Go to Settings -> Reading and Choose a static page for the Front Page display and select the page you just made.
3. Go to Appearance -> Menu and make a new menu. Add menu items and save it as a primary menu..
4. Go to Appearance -> Theme Option and uncheck the enable parallax in the general settings.
